Jim Cramer JP Morgan JPM 3/10/09 - March 10, 2009

Jim Cramer of CNBC said during his Stop Trading segment that you have to see Jp Morgan ( JPM ) go into the $20's before you can declare a " stock market bottom" for 2009 and declare today's rally more then a bear market bounce. Keep an eye on JPM stock as we trade over the next several weeks.

Keep in mind, Jim Cramer was not bullish over the past week when his friend Doug Kass made bottom statements for the S&P 500. The Doug Kass bottom is actually 693 on the S&P 500 which we broke but are now trading over 710 today on the Citigroup ( C ) news. Although, Cramer notes that the uptick rule would make him bullish.

"The Chinese stimulus plan changes spending habits as they are basically giving you money to spend. Check out FXI stock. if you like China. "

Fertilizer Stock Plays - " I like TNH because of dividend play. "

Jim Cramer came on CNBC this afternoon, 11/04/08, and said MasterCard MA will go to $180 within 48 hours. He says earnings were good, he preferred Visa ( V ), but is coming back to MasterCard ( MA ).

Exxon Mobile ( XOM ) - Obama does not like how much XOM earns...I would sell XOM and the OIH. You can go long the Ethanol stocks however Jim says.

Jim Cramer CNBC 10/28/08 - Bullish on the Market

Today, 10/28/08, Jim Cramer was on CNBC's Stop Trading segment. Jim Cramer thinks the market is going to be up substantially today. And it is just that, the stock market is riping higher as he is talking.

Jim Cramer said he thinks NYX has been beaten down so much, even that stock will see a bounce. He called the NYX fall, " an amazing fall."

Jim said that he didn't feel that the stock markets should have fell into the close yesterday and we are playing a little catch up today. Mutual Funds are marking stocks up for the end of the month. He also stated that the Verizon ( VZ ) news was great yesterday 10/27/08, as well as the Boeing ( BA ) news. Jim is bullish on stocks in the short term and he will probably mention this on Mad Money tonight.

Will Jim Cramer Apologize to AIG Employees?

Should Jim Cramer Apologize to AIG employees for stating on Mad Money 10/16/08 that we should hound them in supermarkets and ball parks?

The CEO of AIG has written a letter to Jim Cramer asking for an apology.

From the Wall Street Journal Blog

Edward Liddy -

Dear Mr. Cramer,

I was deeply disappointed last Thursday when you urged your viewers to harass AIG employees, saying:

“We should hound them in the supermarket, we should hound them in the ball park, we should hound them everywhere they are. We should make fun of them and we should point fingers at them and we should tell them that you have no shame.”

Those comments are outrageous. I demand they be retracted and that you apologize to AIG’s employees. It is one thing to criticize the executive leadership of AIG - that’s fair commentary. But it is way out of bounds to incite people to confront and harass other AIG employees - hard-working, dedicated people who are running good businesses and are committed to our success. The employees of AIG did not cause this mess, but they are paying for it - in diminished 401K savings and in some job losses as we sell companies to repay the Federal loan. The irony is that AIG employees did not cause the problem, but they will solve it. For that they deserve our praise and our gratitude.

I await your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Edward M. Liddy

Pre Market Trading - Stock Market 10/21/08 - Libor Rates, CAT, AAPL, Futures

Today, Tuesday, 10/21/08, The stock Market futures are pointing lower in pre market by about 100 points for the Dow Jones. This comes after a huge move up over 400 points on Monday.

European Markets 10/21/08 - European stock markets opened higher Tuesday following Asian gains overnight, as lower interbank lending rates fueled hope that credit markets are returning to normal. The Nikkei rose 3.3% last night.
The FTSE 100 index of leading British shares was 2.53 points higher, or 0.1 percent, higher at 4,285.20, while Germany's DAX was up 30.76 points, or 0.6 percent, at 4,865.77.

Caterpillar ( CAT ) - Cat just reported earnings this morning of $1.39 per share vs 1.41 expected. Caterpillar sees full year 2008 earnings of $6 and they reaffirm their full year 2008 outlook.

Libor Rates - Today, the Libor rates are below 4% for the first time in three weeks. This is a further signal that the credit markets are starting to thaw up a bit. Should be great news for the stock market going forward.

Stock to Watch 10/21/08 - (LINE ), Jim Cramer mentioned it on Mad Money CNBC last night. The stock was up over 12% to $16.25. Watch Apple ( AAPL ) today as they release earnings tonight. Key analyst Gene Munster said on Fast Money last night he expects AAPL to trade higher after earnings are released tonight. Apple is expected to report $1.11 per share.

EBS - New Top 2008 Stock this year - As of yesterday, ( EBS ) is the best performing stock this year for the first time.

Stocks to Watch: 9/30 - AAPL, RIMM, FSLR

Today we are getting a bounce higher from yesterdays record plunge. Thursday looks like the earliest that they could start working on a new deal for the bailout plan. I honestly don't see this bill passing now because if you tweak the package, some of the No voters will turn to yes, but maybe some of the Yes voters will now turn to No.

Jim Cramer's new target for the Dow is 8200 if this deal doesn't get passed.

So what if we do get a deal? Well, I think you could see a 700 point up day if not more. Cramer said he's ready to tell people to buy when and if this thing passes.

Putting the above aside, stocks I will be watching and trading today are FSLR, AAPL, and RIMM. These three stocks are super volatile so and quick plunge should be bought, just remember to take profits quick. On Apple, $112 failed many times yesterday so if we break up through this level in the next couple days...you could see a nice move higher from that level.

Dow Jones Analysis 9/19/08 - Dow Jones Technical Analysis

Dow Jones - Technical Analysis - Today the dow will open at around 11280, or right between the 10 day and 50 day moving average. 11,400 is our first major level of resistance...if we can close above this level, most likely we will test 11867 which was the August high. If we break through this level, the bottom will be in at 10475. Jim Cramer, take note. Stop trying to call bottoms until they are made. Yesterdays close of 11019 acts as strong support given the gap up today. If this fails, back down we go!

First Solar ( FSLR ) Upgraded 9/12 to Buy - Societe Generale

This morning 9/12/08, First Solar ( FSLR ) has been started with a buy from Societe Generale company. First Solar stock has been crushed over the past two weeks due to fears of prices falling in 2009. They seem to be over done however, and I have been trading this stock daily. Buying below $200 and selling above or at $210 has worked great. When FSLR breaks $219 it will be back in play. I could see it going to $235-$240 quickly.

CNBC's Jim Cramer blessed FSLR stock on lightening round last night 9/11 on Cramer's Mad Money.

Clean Energy ( CLNE ) Cramer Mad Money Nancy Pelosi 8/26/08

This morning Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) is getting a nice bounce in pre market due to the 8/25/08 CNBC Mad Money show with Jim Cramer and Nancy Pelosi.

Turns out the speaker of the House of Representatives owns between $100,000 and $250,000 worth of stock in Clean Energy Fuels, a company that builds and runs natural-gas fueling stations for vehicles that run on compressed or liquefied natural gas.

T. Boone Pickens may be the largest shareholder of CLNE, but there’s probably nothing better than having the full confidence of Nancy Pelosi behind your company.
“It’s even better than Warren Buffett being a shareholder,” Cramer said, because Buffett doesn’t control the House of Representatives.”

CLNE Technical Analysis:

Looking at my charts.... I'm looking for a close over the following prices in order to cause a big breakout. $14.90, $15.47, $16.20, $16.84......once these levels are taken out, it will go to the next. After $16.84, you have a big gap to $19.60. Then you could test the all time high of $20.65.
If energy prices rise into 2009, CLNE could be a big gainer!
