Day Trading - A guide to trading stocks! - @stockstobuy - 

Day Trading is short term trading of shares of stock.  Day Trading can be very lucrative if you follow several keys rules and remain disciplined.  Day Traders usually buy and sell stocks quickly through out the day and avoid holding a stock overnight.

Day Trading Rules:

1.  Don't hold stocks overnight

-  If your are hardcore day trader, you want to avoid holding stocks overnight.  Events can happen overnight that cause the stock market to drop.  This will most likely cause individual stocks to drop as well.  Day Trading is all about making trades during the day and coming into the next day fully in cash and ready to trade the next opportunity.

2.  Buy break out stocks

-  Only buy when a stock has volume and news surrounding the rise in price.  After the open, a stock will set a high and a low.  Buy the stock if it's breaking up through the high and sell into the rally.  This day trading tip has the highest success rate because when a stock is breaking through the high of the day, the computers on wall st are programmed to buy as well.  If you can't beat them, join them!

3.  Cut losses quickly

-  If you buy a stock and it just won't rise but is dropping or you are holding it for a small loss, sell it.  Cut your losers and let your winners run.

Disney (DIS) stock continues to trade sideways in an uptrend.  Shares of Disney (DIS) are a strong buy on pullbacks below the 50 day moving average located in the mid $60's.  Disney (DIS) continues to be one of the best long term stocks you can buy as the brand remain popular among all age groups, especially kids.  Disney (DIS) stock should hit $80-$85 at some point in 2014.

Top Stocks 2013 - Top Penny Stocks 2013 - Stocks to Buy 2014

Tesla (TSLA) - TSLA dropped from $182 to $132 recently but rebounded into the close on Friday.  Resistance is located at $140.60 as well as $145.65.

Yelp (YELP) - YELP missed on earnings, beat on revenue, and raised guidance recently.  YELP is a strong buy below $60.

Twitter (TWTR) - If TWTR stock breaks down below $38 next week, we could easily see a rebound back to $42.

Earnings November 11, 2013 - In the stock picks group, we will be watching key earnings after the close.  Rackspace Hosting, Inc. (RAX) and InterOil (IOC) will be releasing critical stock moving earnings reports.  If I like what I see, I will be buying for sure.  Full List of Top Earnings.....

Tesla (TSLA) stock is dropping hard after the company sold fewer electric cars during last quarter but upped guidance for 2013.  Those cars will make it into the current quarter and you can bet Elon Musk will do everything possible to report a blow out quarter.

So now what?  Tesla (TSLA) shares are back to $140, down $55 from the high just one month ago.  Yes there were a few Tesla fires but there are around 800 vehicle fires in the U.S per day.  I don't see it as a big deal and Tesla cars are the safest vehicles on the planet.  If anything, the stock is oversold and finding support down in the $130's.  I see a bounce back to at least $155-$160 in the coming months.

I completely sold out of Tesla (TSLA) in the $160's several months ago but I have been buying back this week and plan to buy more if the stock hits the $120's.  This company remains 5 years ahead of the competition and they will continue to improve for years to come.  Resistance is located at $145.65 as well as $156.

Twitter (TWTR) stock hit $50 on IPO day and has been in free-fall mode ever since.  TWTR found some support just above $40 on Friday but really needs to hold that level going forward.  The company is now valued between $28-29 billion based on a fully diluted share count.  If the stock can drop back to $35, I think Twitter (TWTR) is a buy for the long term.  I doubt the stock falls much lower than that!   If you'd like more trading tips, join my stock picks group where we share ideas.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 15594 on 11/8/13, as the stock market rebounded today.  Tesla (TSLA) continues to struggle but appears to be forming a bottom.  Buy a break above $141 next week and hold on a break above $146.   Keep an eye on earnings from PBPB next week.  We will be watching these closely in the stock picks group.

Yelp (YELP) - Yelp (YELP) stock dropped $10 in two days and continues to trade in this $62-$72 range.  YELP is a strong buy below $64 - My price target is $105 for 2014.

Tesla (TSLA) - Tesla (TSLA) dropped to $132 on Friday as the stock tries to find a level of support.  I now have a large position and will hold for awhile unless the stock spikes.  I'm looking to add more below $130.

Twitter (TWTR) - I have nothing good to say about the Twitter (TWTR) IPO but that it's very expensive.  I'd rather invest in YELP, TSLA, NDLS, SCTY, FB.

Facebook (FB) - Facebook (FB) stock is still trading around $47.   FB will have support around $47.50 and $46.50.  Buy FB below $47.

Noodles & Company (NDLS) - Noodles & Co (NDLS) is back trading near $42 after the company missed a little bit on revenue.  Noodles & Company (NDLS) is a strong buy below $43, a sell above $48.  Resistance is located at $50 & $52.

PotBelly (PBPB) - Potbelly (PBPB) stock is back above $26 on Friday.  PBPB is a strong buy below $24, a sell above $28.

Apple (AAPL) - Apple (AAPL) stock has been very boring lately, nobody even talks about it.  AAPL will have resistance at $545.

Restoration Hardware (RH) - Restoration Hardware (RH) continues to trade between $68-$71.  Right now I view RH a strong buy below $63.  RH is now a sell above $71.

Netflix (NFLX) - Netflix (NFLX) stock is trading around $333 today.  NFLX will have support around $300 per share.  Also keep an eye on CSIQ & ZHNE which are the hottest stocks in 2013 above $2.  Biggest Gainers 2013
