Buy GoPro (GPRO) Stock? Lock Up Expiration Looms

Buy GoPro (GPRO) stock on June 30, 2014? - @Stockstobuy -

GoPro (GPRO) has been red hot in the first two days of trading as shares jumped from $28 to $40.  GoPro (GPRO) dropped $4 Friday afternoon to close at $35.76.  The question many people are asking is, should I buy GoPro (GPRO) stock?

One thing people have to realize is there is a ton of demand and little supply of  GPRO stock.  Only 17.8 million shares are available out of the total 125,745,976 shares locked up ahead of the key lock up expiration period on December 27, 2014.  Expect a massive amount of selling ahead of the lock up expiration but as of right now, the lock up expiration does not matter.  GPRO stock will continue to see heavy volume and wild swings.

My advice is to only buy GoPro stock on large dips and sell into rallies.  If GPRO breaks above $40.50, the stock becomes a buy again using a tight stop loss order.

Newlead Holdings (NEWL) shares remain halted as the NASDAQ looks into the company's press releases and recent business partnerships.  Newlead Holdings (NEWL) has been under a T-12 halt since the stock market opened this morning and nobody knows how long NEWL will be halted for.

Expect the NASDAQ to take their time on this trading halt since NEWL shares are down 99.4% in 2014.  The company is basically a scam.

Facebook (FB) Stock IPO Closing Price - $38.23

May 18, 2012 - Facebook (FB) stock closed at $38.23 after a wild first day a trading. After opening at the price of $42.43, shares of Facebook (FB) jumped to $43 and then dropped hard to the pricing point of $38. The underwriters supported the stock buy lining the $38 price with buy order which caused a rally back to $41.50. By the end of the day, the stock wrestled with $38 again.

After the first night of after hours trading, Facebook (FB) stock is up slightly to $38.42.

So now what? How will Facebook (FB) stock perform on Monday, May 21, 2012? I expect more selling next week and I wouldn't be surprised if the stock dropped to $36-$37 before any rebound. Keep an eye on $40, if Facebook (FB) jumps above that level, everyone seems to want to buy back in. On the downside, if it breaks $40, everyone seems to want to sell fast.
