Ford (F) Stock Analysis 10/24/13 October 24, 2013

Ford (F) Stock Analysis 10/24/13 October 24, 2013 -

Ford (F) just released strong earnings and the stock is rising 4% to $18.20.  Ford (F) reported earnings of $0.45 per share vs $0.37 expected.  This was a huge beat!  Ford (F) stock will have resistance between $18.50-$19 but then nothing until $20.  If Ford (F) can keep up the earnings momentum, look for shares to hit $22-$25 in 2014.  That is my 2014 price target!  Ford (F) is a strong buy below $17.

Ford ( F ) Auto Sales Up 2.3% - July 2009 - Cash for Clunkers

August 3, 2009 - The verdict is in, and it is very good! Ford Motor Company ( F ) just released sales for July 2009 and they were up 2.3%. This is the first month to month increase in two years.

Is this just a sugar high from the Cash for Clunkers program or can this be sustainable? Only time will tell as we head into the fall.

There is no doubt this program was very successful. Finally we are getting something right with putting money in the hands of the consumer rather then bailing out Wall Street Banks.

July 23, 2009 - Shares of Ford Motor Co. (F) are surging this morning on a better then expected earnings report. Ford stock is currently trading Up 6% to $6.76 which is higher then the recent high of $6.54. I now expect Ford to trade up to $8-$9 in the next 3 months. This is up 2 billion from the 19 billion expected.

General Motors GM Ford F Stock 2/17/09

Today, February 17, 2009, General Motors ( GM ) and Ford ( F ) stocks are both taking a nose dive along with the stock market. Futures are down significantly in pre market trading.

Why are GM, F stocks down along with the stock market? Fears that one of these automakers won't survive are back while gold prices are soaring. It has been reported that General Motors might need multi billion dollars just to survive the rest of the quarter. The fear in the market this morning comes from the statement - When will enough be enough? Can we afford to let one of these automakers go bankrupt? If one goes, some say, they all go down. GM and Chrysler are in for a tough ride but Ford seems to be holding up well.

General Motors ( GM ) & Ford ( F ) pre market stock quotes:

GM - $2.38
F - $1.66

Key News Highlights Today - 2/17/09 - Look for the automakers' plans to be released after 4pm today.

- Time is up for GM, Chrysler to file restructuring plans
- Would a G.M. Bankruptcy Save Taxpayer Money?
- GM may ask for bankruptcy protection or additional financial aid
- China’s Sichuan Auto Said to Be in Talks to Buy GM’s Hummer
- Ford-UAW talks progress; may be basis for GM, Chrysler pacts

General Motors GM & Ford F 12/18/08 Stock Report

General Motors ( GM ) and Ford ( F ) stocks just took a nose dive at 11:55am this morning, 12/18/08. General Motors just hit a low of $3.52 and Ford hit a low of $2.81. I'm sure this has something to do with the bailout plan but I can't find any news. This is something to watch. The Dow Jones and Stock Market's do not seem to be effected by these drops.

General Motors GM - Ford F - 12/12/08 - Stock Report

Today, December 12, 2008, General Motors ( GM ) and Ford ( F ) stocks are hurting as the auto bailout failed in the Senate last night. As you can see below, both stocks are under extreme pressure as well as the Stock Market Futures. We should hear soon from the White House whether or not they will use TARP money to hold these companies ( along with Chrysler ) over for the next few months or face bankruptcy. Bankruptcy would cause over 2 million people to lose their jobs adding pressure to the unemployment in America. Most think President Bush will not let this happen. Stay Tuned......

General Motors GM - Ford F - 12/11/08 - Stock Report

Today, 12/11/08, General Motors ( GM ) and Ford ( F ) stocks are up in pre market trading after the House passed the auto bailout bill by 19 votes. After, closing at $4.60 on Wednesday, GM stock is set to open higher at $4.75 per share. Ford ( F ) will also be opening lower around $3.20 after closing at $3.25 on Monday.

Last night, 12/10/08, The House of Representatives passed the auto bailout bill 237 -170. The bill needed just 218 votes to pass. The 14 billion bridge loan bill now stumbles into the Senate as early as tomorrow. The real problems are in the Senate as there are many voters opposed to this bailout bill. If Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler get this bridge loan, they will be back in a few months for more money. Conditions aren't likely to get better. Some say by the time this is all said and done, they will need 100 billion combined. However, this would save over 2 million jobs. This is a touchy subject and I could argue either side. Bankruptcy would kill our already horrible economy but it might eventually bring more jobs if we can get this problem fixed in bankruptcy. These car companies need to make better cars not to mention cars people want to drive. We will have an update when more news comes.

General Motors GM - Ford F - 12/09/08 - Stock Report

Today, 12/09/08, General Motors ( GM ) and Ford ( F ) stocks are down in pre market trading. After, closing at $4.93 on Friday, GM stock is set to open lower at $4.75 per share. Ford ( F ) will also be opening lower around $3.32 after closing at $3.38 on Monday.

The big three automakers, General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler are getting closer to receiving bailout money but it still isn't a done deal. Democrats sent a proposal to the White House last night but Republicans are seeing fault in deal. Democrats are expected to vote in a special session this week in regards to giving the big three auto markers some sort of bailout.

The terms of the loan have 15 billion being handed out and the Government potentially taking stakes in the companies. These auto makers will most likely need more capital in a few months.
