The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8763 on 6/5/09, as the stock market went on a roller coaster ride after a better then expected jobs report. The Dow Jones Futures soared after we found out we only lost 345,000 jobs in May but investors sold into the news as the day went on. This is really the first time in many months that stocks have gone down on good news. All the major averages continue to trade over their 200 day moving averages which is bullish going forward. Check out some of the events I will be watching for Monday.

Stocks to Watch - 6/5/09 - Stock Market Ideas

XTENT (XTNT) - XTNT stock was a rocket during the trading day on Thursday after the following news - XTENT, Inc. Receives Conditional Approval for Investigational Device Exemption of Custom NX(R) Drug Eluting Stent System from United States Food and Drug Administration. Expect this stock to be very active on Friday so keep it on your watch lists.

Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) - NVAX had some great news out on Thursday which cause the stock to make a run toward resistance at $3.

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - HEB broke to another 52 week high yet again on this news. Expect an FDA decision on their drug Ampligen within the next two trading days.
Yes, we have been talking about HEB for weeks now.

Antigenics Inc. (AGEN) - AGEN stock made a double top around the $3.30 level and then sold off. With the huge volume in AGEN, you cannot take it off your radars.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC stock failed to stay above $1.85 for the second straight day. Support is located in the mid $150's and also at $1.37. A close above $1.85 would be very bullish going forward.

Generex Biotechnology Corp. (GNBT) - GNBT was out with some interesting news on Thursday, it is a stock I will continue to watch closely.

XOMA Ltd. (XOMA) - XOMA started to break out during the afternoon hours on Thursday due to the following news. Keep an eye on it.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Direxion Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS stock broke through $10 on Thursday morning and never looked back. If we get a good jobs number tomorrow, FAS could see the $11's. Pullbacks to $10 should be bought with a stop at $9.82.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup was showing some nice strength on Thursday....maybe a sign that it is down going down? Support at $3.32-$3.34 has held twice....still waiting for that break above $4.00 for me to buy buy buy.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) - Bank of America is showing signs of life and is back over the 10 day moving average. A close over $12 would be very bullish and cause most of the shorts to start covering. Goldman Sachs upgraded BAC several weeks ago with a price target of $15.

General Electric Co. (GE) - GE stock continues to trade in the $13's. I am watching $14.38 and $14.55 as resistance levels
