The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8763 on 6/5/09, as the stock market went on a roller coaster ride after a better then expected jobs report. The Dow Jones Futures soared after we found out we only lost 345,000 jobs in May but investors sold into the news as the day went on. This is really the first time in many months that stocks have gone down on good news. All the major averages continue to trade over their 200 day moving averages which is bullish going forward.
