June 29, 2020 - Virgin Galactic (SPCE) announced their Q2 earnings date tonight. The company will report earnings on Monday. August 3, 2020 after the stock market close.
Virgin Galactic will host a conference call to discuss the results that day at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time). A live webcast and replay of the conference call will be available on the Company’s Investor Relations website at investors.virgingalactic.com.
I own SPCE stock in the low $15's and as a shareholder, I would like to see them complete 5 more FAA Verification and Validation provisos and open up new seat reservations. Also, any color on when they will take Richard Branson to space before opening it up to reservation holders.
Expect the company to start rapidly sending people to space in 2021.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9287 on 8/3/09, as the stock market exploded higher on better then expected earnings our of European banks. The Dow Jones Futures were higher overnight but faded throughout pre market trading. After a pullback right after the open, the stock market rallied and hit new highs during the afternoon. Oil prices surged above $71.50 after as the dollar weakened and the commodity plays catch up to the recent stock market rally. I expect Oil to soon be trading in the $75-$80 level.
The hottest sectors today were no doubt Basic Materials and Energy. Stocks such as Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX) - United States Steel Corp. (X) - Alcoa, Inc. (AA) were up huge in basic materials while Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR) - Patriot Coal Corporation (PCX) - ConocoPhillips (COP) - Schlumberger Limited (SLB) were hot in the energy sector.

Ford is set to report it's first monthly sales gain in two years. This news is due in part to the cash for clunkers program that has seen a huge acceptance. A few weeks ago I upgraded Ford stock to a buy with an $8-$9 price target which has been met today ( $8.60 ) in pre market.
Will Ford stock continue to go up? Should you buy F stock? These are great questions. I am watching the next major resistance level which is $8.79. I feel a close above $8.79 would set up a move toward $10 where there will be significant resistance.
On the downside, If I see a pullback to the lows $7's down to the high $6's, I will be loading up.

CTIC has been trending right along with both the 10 & 50 day moving averages for about three weeks now. $1.37 and $1.30 have been solid support levels and $1.50 has been resistance. As soon as CTIC can close back over $1.50 I believe it will begin a new uptrend and I will be getting back into the stock. CTIC has been making lower highs with the last major high being $1.78. BAC stock broke out over $14 last week and is now testing the $15.06 2009 high. A close above this level would be very bullish and I would then look for Bank of America to test the December high of $17.93. Dow Jones Chart - The following is Technical Analysis for the Dow Jones ( DJIA ) for 8/3/09Dow Jones Industrial Average ($DJI) Support & Resistance Levels - August 3, 2009
Resistance Levels: 9246, 9284, 9500
Support Levels: 9040, 9000, 8600

The Dow Jones continues to bounce every time it gets near the 10 day moving average. I have been buying pullbacks to this level until we actually close below it, then I would actually want to go short. Resistance is located at 9246 & 9284 and then nothing major until 9500. Stocks to Watch - 8/3 /09 - Stock Market Ideas
Inovio Biomedical Corporation (INO) - INO was probably the best stock for daytrading on Friday. After holding bottoming at $1.50 on Thursday, INO exploded out of the gate on Friday peaking just after 1pm. I was buying all the pullbacks under $2 and selling quickly into the $2.10's. The fact that INO held $2 going into the close is very positive and sets up nicely for Monday. I would think INO will retest the $2.48-$2.50 resistance area on 8/3/09. If the stock can break through $2.50, it will catch fire and bring back all the momentum traders once again ( like me ).
Anadys Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ANDS) - ANDS was another stock I traded in the morning Friday. Anadys gets FDA nod on hepatitis C drug study, shares up. ANDS held the morning low of $2.70 and then shot into the $3's where I sold. I was thinking about buying it back but after the stock went back under $3, the warning flag was raised and I stayed away. The close was absolutely horrific! Nevertheless, I will be back in ANDS when it gets above $3 again for a trade. It closed up in afterhours so keep an eye on Anady's for Monday.
VirnetX Holding Corp (VHC) - VHC was halted for a few hours Friday but then reopened. VirnetX Receives Markman Order in Patent Infringement Action Against Microsoft. I will still be watching VHC stock Monday but the final hour was a disaster technically. Straight Down!
Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - Still waiting on an FDA approval decision for CFS drug Ampligen - Technically, HEB is really starting to break down, closing below the 50 day moving average for the third straight day. If $2 doesn't hold, things could get rocky. If the FDA does approve Ampligen, you could see a Human Genome Sciences Inc. (HGSI) like move!
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Waiting for CTIC to break back up above $1.50 and then add to my position when it closes above $1.50. Then I expect atleast $1.60-$1.70 days later.
Recent Stock Gainers: I am still watching the following stocks for potential trading opportunites. These stocks are easily forgotten because they have been going down but can quickly spike 10-15% at any moment. Sequenom Inc. (SQNM) - Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (JAZZ) - Discovery Laboratories Inc. (DSCO) - deCODE genetics Inc. (DCGN) - ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ACAD) - Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) - SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI)
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to trade over the 10 day moving average which is currently $52.22. I expect a retest of the 10 day any week now but this moving average will be moving up each day. I am looking to buy FAZ if FAS breaks through $55.71 which was Friday's low. Resistance levels for FAS will be $60, $62.56, and then $66.26 which was the May high.
Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup held $3 for the most part on Friday. I had my stop way to tight but there were several opportunities to get back in. Where is Citigroup headed next? I think if Citigroup can close over $3.21 it will make a run back into the $3.50's-$3.60's. expect more index buying to occur in the first week of August.
Bank of America Corp ( BAC ) - Bank of America Corporation was on fire Friday. Back in Mid July BAC stock made 5 straight lower closes and then the trend changed July 22nd when Bank of America closed at 12.23 which was higher then then previous close. Pullbacks to $13 and into the high $12's are now a strong buy. Look for BAC to break out further if it can close over the 2009 high which was made in May at $15.06.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - I am watching AIG for a break about $13.45 resistance level for another retest of $13.80-$14. If AIG can break above $14, its off to the races again. Support is located at $12.86-$12.87 but I won't be buying below $13, to risky!
