YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) is pulling back to the 10 day moving average....I really like to buy YRCW below $5 here as long as the stock can close over the 10 day moving average. The stock has closed above the 10 day moving average every day since the start of the new break out in late August. If YRCW breaks down, the 200 day moving average would also be a solid area to buy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9683 on 9/15/09, as the stock market surged on better then expected PPI & Retail Sales data. The Dow Jones Futures started the morning lower but quickly reversed right after 8:30am EST. During the afternoon hours, the stock market hit new 2009 highs as General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) broke up through $16 per share. On the other hand, shares of Citigroup Inc. ( C ) were hammered after a report that they are looking to reduce the government's stake in the company with hopes that the U.S. will sell the shares in a public offering. The plan is reportedly being reviewed by the government. I am waiting until Citigroup breaks up through the high of the day to start a new long position.

CEL-SCI Corp. (CVM) stock is soaring on swine flu news today. To find the next major resistance levels I had to go all the way back to 2006. The two major resistance levels after $1.51 are $1.60 & $1.78. A close above $1.78 would be huge and you would see a huge volume surge. Support is all the way down at around $1.10 as well as $1. CVM is showing extreme overbought conditions so use caution when trading this stock.

The BDI data is critical for how the DryBulk Shipping Stocks such as DryShips Inc ( DRYS ), Excel Maritime Carriers Ltd( EXM ), Diana Shipping Inc ( DSX ), Genco Shipping & Trading Limited ( GNK ), TBS International Limited ( TBSI ), Navios Maritime ( NM ), Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. Since my last update, YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) broke $2.90 and surged into the $4's. I am now watching resistance at $4.58 as well as the May 2009 high of $4.78. A close above $4.78 would be bullish and there is a chance YRCW could retest $6. Pullbacks to the 10 & 200 day moving averages should now be bought if the opportunity presents itself. September 15, 2009 - Shares of BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc. (BCRX) are on fire in pre market due to the following news. BCRX is Up 7% to $11.50.


BioCryst Announces Partnerships for Peramivir for Influenza Outside the U.S.


BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCRX) today announced that it has signed binding letters of intent with three partners who will exclusively represent BioCryst and its anti-viral peramivir for influenza stockpiling opportunities, as well as for marketing and distribution of peramivir for seasonal influenza upon local regulatory approval, within their territories outside the U.S. Each partner will immediately begin meeting with key government officials in their respective territories to discuss peramivir's availability during this global health emergency.

SpongeTech Delivery Systems, Inc. (SPNG.OB) took a nose dive last week after the company announced a reverse stock split. The stock is now trading below both the 10 & 50 day moving averages which is technically bearish. While the uptrend which started in May is still intact, I will be waiting until the stock closes above the 10 day moving average to buy. It seems as though everyone is watching Libor rates these days. Today's Libor Rates for 9/15/09, are: 1 Month Libor Rate - 0.243% & 3 Month Libor Rate - 0.293%. The overnight Libor rate is 0.219%. As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, September 15, 2009. While the Overnight Libor stayed the same, the 1 Month Libor went higher and the 3 month libor went lower.

Ebay Upgraded to Buy at UBS - September 15, 2009

September 15, 2009 - eBay Inc. (EBAY) is set to open in the $24's today as UBS has come out and Upgraded the stock with a Buy rating.


Price Target - $28

UBS upgrades eBay and thinks Marketplace transaction growth is "turning the corner." The firm also believes the secondary market represents a long-term opportunity for the company.

Looking at the chart, there is really no major resistance until the $26-$27 range

Genova Biotherapeutics signs Deal with Bridge

September 15, 2009 - Shares of Genova Biotherapeutics, Inc. (GVBP.OB) are set to have another active day after the company issued a press release after the bell tonight. GVBP stock is up over 150% in the past week.

GENova Biotherapeutics signs collaboration agreement with Bridge Bioresearch

GENova Biotherapeutics Inc. ("GENova") today announced it has signed a collaboration agreement with Bridge Bioresearch Plc. ("Bridge Bioresearch"), an international drug development and discovery company that focuses on metabolic disorders.

The two biotechnology drug acquisition companies plan to leverage each others' scientific findings and industry contacts for mutual gain.

GENova's business solely focuses on cancer cures, while Bridge BioResearch is geared at acquiring drug targets for Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Through the collaboration agreement, the two companies will partner to share research results and their global contacts with research organizations and pharmaceutical companies. They will also examine their findings to gain insight into the links between their respective fields of oncology and obesity, as cancer and obesity are both maladies that can be blamed on lifestyle choices. HTDS had some positive H1N1 news Monday which caused the stock to pop and retest the August high of $0.0219. A double top has now formed at $0.0.219 and this will be a strong resistance level going forward. A plan to buy more HTDS if the stock can break above this level. Stocks to Watch - 9/15/09 - Stock Market Ideas

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG was up nicely on Monday on news that the company reduced its Federal Reserve indebtedness slightly in recent weeks. AIG acted well over $40 on Monday. Keep and eye on $40.75 which was the high from last week.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup continues to be weak after failing and trading below the 10 day moving average for most of last week. Previous support at $4.48-$4.50 did not hold so I am now looking at $4.30 to hold. The 10 day moving average is currently located at $4.69. As soon as Citigroup closes above this level, I will buy back in. Check out my Citigroup Technical Analysis.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) - CHK continues to be hot after finally closing over $25 last week for the first time in a year. Any 10-15% pullback would be a strong buy. Resistance is located at $27.10.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) - LVS continues to surge after another upgrade Monday, this time from Bank of America. B of A rates LVS a buy with a $21 price target. As for the charts, I don't see any resistance until $20.

Discovery Laboratories Inc. (DSCO) - Discovery Labs to meet FDA to review lung drug options 9/29/09. DSCO finally broke above $1 and ran up to $1.17. If DSCO can break above $1.20, I think it has a chance to retest the June 2009 high of $1.47. Keep DSCO on your watchlists from the next few weeks.

E*TRADE Financial Corporation (ETFC) - I am watching ETFC closely, I will be buying a break above $2. ETFC received an upgrade on Monday.

YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - Support = $3.56 - Resistance = $4.78

HARD TO TREAT DISEASES (HTDS.PK) - Stock exploded Monday afternoon on the following news - Hard To Treat Diseases (HTDS) (H1N1) Vaccine Clinical Approval and Production Update. I am watching the $0.0219 resistance from August 2009 and Monday. A break above this level would be bullish going forward.

Bank of America Corp ( BAC ) - Bank of America Corporation continues to trade back below the 10 day moving average....waiting for a close above this level ( $16.93 ) to get back in.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - I like FAS as long as it remains over $72.75. If $72.75 is broken, I will jump into FAZ for a trade. If FAS can break above $79, I will buy FAS for a trade.
