The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10945 on 10/5/10, as the stock market surged on no major news. All the major stock market averages climbed steadily throughout the trading day which is very bullish. The Dow Jones appears as though it wants to extend the recent rally.

I continue to hold my HDY and will add on weakness. We are seeing some minor consolidation right now in the stock and a solid base is forming. My next buys will probably be on a break above $2.50 or a break below $2.00. I am also watching VHC for a possible short trade. VHC has gone parabolic lately. Shorting through the low of the day should produce a nice gain.
