The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10662 on 9/23/10, as the stock market traded lower due to a worse than expected initial claims number. The Dow Jones Futures were down 80 points at one point but then snapped back by noon and were actually higher on the day. Going into the close, the stock market averages fell again. The financials were very weak today and if they start breaking down, the stock market will go even lower. MakeMyTrip (MMYT) rose 12% today so I sold that stock and continue to hold a very small position in SouFun Holdings (SFUN).
