Stocks to Watch - 9/30/10 - Stock Market Investing Ideas

Rediff.com India Ltd. (REDF), Sify Technologies Limited (SIFY) - Shares of Rediff.com India Ltd. (REDF) & Sify Technologies Limited (SIFY) were flat on Wednesday. Rediff.com was the worst perfomer out of the two and provided a nice short trade from $6.20 down to $5.57. Rediff and Sify can be played from both the long and short side if you are swing trading.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. continued to surge and had some good news out on Wednesday. The Government is looking to sell their stake in the company but AIG still owes them over 100 billion dollars says CNBC. AIG stock doesn't have any major resistance until $40.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to trade between $21-$22. FAS is a strong buy on pullbacks below $18 which is what I am waiting for.

Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. continues to hold $100. Baidu appears to have made a short term top and is now a short on breaks through the low of the day. Baidu Inc, would be a good buy below $80.

(YRCW) - Origin Agritech Limited (SEED) - Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) - Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - Bank of Ireland (IRE) - Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) - Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (ALTI) - Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CYCC) - Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SOMX)

YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - Shares of YRC Worldwide Inc. continue to hold $.029 but are very weak despite recent positive news. YRC Worldwide Inc has resistance located at $0.35 on the upside. YRC Worldwide is now a buy unless the stock breaks down through $0.28, then I'd move to the sidelines.

Hyperdynamics Corporation (HDY) - Shares of Hyperdynamics Corporation cooled off on Wednesday but are still holding up well. Resistance on the upside is $2.50. Pullbacks below $2.20 are a buy.

Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) - Shares of Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. continue to hold $1.50. Arena Pharmaceuticals is a buy on a break back above $2.15. If you want to get in front of this trade...buy on a break above $1.93 with a tight stop.

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd rebounded on Wednesday. Research in Motion must continue to hold $46 on the downside for this rally to continue. I feel the stock us under huge accumulation. Research in Motion remains a strong long term buy below $50.

Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) - Shares of Netflix, Inc. came very close to the $167.10 resistance area on Wednesday which failed. Netflix has a new support level around $158 and I'd be shorting Netflix Inc on dips below that level.

Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio are nearing the $1.20 resistance level again. Sirius XM Radio does not have any major resistance until $1.20 - $1.25 so all pullbacks under $1.10 are now a strong buy.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices Inc. are back above $7.00 again. Advanced Micro Devices Inc. is a strong buy below $6.00.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group continue to be very weak. Goldman Sachs has resistance located at $155 as well as $156.86 on the upside. Goldman Sachs remains a strong long term buy below $140.

Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. have resistance located at $0.60. After $0.60, Ambac has resistance located at $0.65 but then nothing major until $1.00. I will not be buying Ambac until it gets back above $1.00.

Oracle Corp. (ORCL) - Shares of Oracle Corp continue to trade above $27. Oracle does not have any major resistance until $27.62-$27.22.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) - Shares of Cisco Systems, Inc. are now back below $22. I have been saying that Cisco Systems was a screaming buy below $21.50 for awhile and now you see why. Cisco Systems has resistance on the upside at $22.51

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) - Shares of Las Vegas Sands Corp. pulled back on Wednesday. I continue to think Las Vegas Sands is a short and I feel this stock will eventually trade below $30 again. I have been wrong so far though.

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. (POT) - Shares of Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. are falling back to the $145 area. Potash Corp will have resistance located at $150 & $160 with support at $145 & $140. It doesn't appear right now as if Potash Corp will be getting a premium bid as first thought.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue the bearish downtrend. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55. CTIC will have resistance located at $0.55 and $0.70.
