Stocks to Watch - 8/12/10 - Stock Market Investing Ideas

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS broke back under $21 on Wednesday as the stock market dropped big time. I am waiting for another drop below $20 to start buying again.

Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. broke the previous low of $13.30 and I now think you can begin to scale back in for the long term. If Bank of America breaks $13, look for $12.20 and than a nice rebound.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices dropped below $6.50 on Wednesday and appear to be headed to $6.00. Advanced Micro Devices is a buy below $6.00 for atleast a bounce.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. dropped below $39 on Wednesday. AIG now has support around $37, I am looking for a reversal when this level is tested.

Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. have support around $78, if we see a pullback to this level, I'd be a buyer of Baidu.

YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - Shares of YRC Worldwide Inc. are pulling back to the $0.30 support level. YRC Worldwide stock has support located at $0.27 but then nothing until $0.24. I wouldn't touch this stock until it breaks back through it's high of the day.

Stocks to Watch for Daytrading - YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) - Bank of Ireland (IRE) - DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - Allied Irish Banks plc (AIB) - Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SOMX)

Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. fell again on Wednesday after a worse than expected earnings report. When Ambac breaks back above $1.00, I will get involved again. If you want to try and get ahead of this trade, buying on a break above $0.90 would probbably work.

Dendreon Corp. (DNDN) - Shares of Dendreon Corp. continue to fail at $40. If we see a pullback below $35, I'd re-enter Dendreon for the long term. A close above $40 would be very bullish.

Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio broke back below $1.00 on Wednesday. The next major resistance level for Sirius XM Radio is located at $1.10. Pullbacks to $0.90 are a buy.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) - Shares of Cisco Systems, Inc. broke back below the 200 day moving average which was support. Cisco Systems has support located at $23.03 which is the 50 day moving average. Cisco Systems reports earnings Wednesday night.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group are back below $150 again. Goldman Sachs has resistance located at $160 so expect some selling there if we see a snap back rally. Pullbacks below $148 are a buy.

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd surged are trading in a range between $52-$56. I'd be a buyer of Research in Motion below $50 for the long term. Resistance is around $58

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue the bearish downtrend. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55. CTIC will have resistance located at $0.55 and $0.70.
