The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10680 on 8/4/10, as the stock market fell in the morning but then popped in the afternoon. A large seller sold S&P futures hard in the morning but the buying was to strong and the stock market performed very well in the afternoon. Initial claims will be out at 8:30am tomorrow followed by the jobs report on Friday.
