The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 11092 on 4/19/10, as the stock market bounced back as the Goldman Sachs fears eased. The Dow Jones Futures were lower in pre market as energy stocks drug down the major averages. By mid day, the Dow Jones was back below 11,000 but reversed in the final hour of trading. Tonight, we will get earnings out of IBM which will be a market mover tomorrow. On Tuesday, we will get earnings out of Goldman in the morning followed by Apple and Yahoo after the close.

Oil prices fell due to the Goldman news as well as the Iceland Volcano. Since the airlines are grounding flights in Europe, the demand for Jet Fuel is lagging. I expect Oil to bottom out around $80 before we move higher in May. Don't forget, the summer driving season is soon upon us!
