The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10390 on 1/21/10, as the stock market fell after President Obama came out and proposed various rules on the big banks. The Dow Jones Futures were down around10 after Goldman Sachs ( GS ) reported a blow out earnings number. The stock market then began to tank leading up to the Obama speech to Wall Street. After the speech, stocks fell even more and they closes near the lows of the day.
The Dow Jones broke It's 50 day moving average which is technically bearish. The next support level that most hold is between 10,200-10,250. If the Dow closes below 10,200 at any time, we could have a huge retest of 10,000. I am most interested in seeing if we can get a sustainable bounce back rally tomorrow. Be Careful out there!
