The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10465 on 12/22/09, as the stock market went higher on a surge in existing home sales. The Dow Jones Futures were up around 30 in pre market and advanced further on existing home sales which were up 7.4%.

The Dow Jones is now approaching the 10,500 resistance level. A close above 10517 would be bullish and we could see another 100-300 point gain. Support is located at 10,200. A close below that level would cause a retest of 10,000.
