The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10291 on 11/11/09, as the stock market went higher Wednesday on no news. The Dow Jones Futures were up about 85 in pre market but came off the highs around lunch time when the US Dollar rallied. The stock market is gearing up for more economic data which starts Thursday with Initial Jobless Claims. Could this be the first day in a long time where we break 500,000 for initial claims? If we do break 500,000, I think we could see more short term gains in the stock market. Check out some additional events I will be watching for Thursday.
