Stocks to Watch - 10/7/09 - Stock Market Ideas

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG was trading back near the 10 day moving average ( $44.41 ) as of 2:30pm EST on Tuesday. A close above $44.41 would be very bullish for Wednesday. The next major resistance levels to watch out for on the upside are $46.50, $47.49, $50. I would be a buyer of pullbacks below $40.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup Inc. was on fire Tuesday but failed at $4.80 resistance. I like pullbacks to the 10 day moving average located at $4.59. Check out my latest Technical Analysis

Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corporation is trading back above the 10 day moving average. I will be a buying BAC when the stock closes above $18.24.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS traded up near $84 on Tuesday but then had a huge $6 reversal during the afternoon. I continue to like FAZ when FAS trades near $85 but you have to keep a tight stop. As for buying FAS, I like pullbacks to the 50 day moving average currently located at $74.33.

Freddie Mac (FRE) - Support = $1.60 - Resistance = $1.86, $1.90
Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $1.32 - Resistance = $1.56, $1.60

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC broke down through the major support area between $0.97-$1.00 on Wednesday. The next major support level to watch is located at $0.87 which is the 200 day moving average. For a trade, I plan to buy CTIC the next time it breaks up through the high of the day.

SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - Be cautious with SIRI here. The stock is breaking down technically and continues to trade below both the 10 day & 50 day moving averages. At this point, I want to avoid SIRI unless the stock closes back above It's 10 day moving average currently located at $0.617. I would then become a buyer and add more on a close over $0.64.

CEL-SCI Corp. (CVM) - CVM broke $1.60 support on Monday and you see the end result. I am willing to buy CVM for a trade the next time the stock breaks through It's high of the day.

UCBH Holdings Inc. (UCBH) - Keep an eye on this stock on Wednesday. UCBH was on fire all day Tuesday due to the following news. China's Minsheng eyes control of US bank UCBH- report.

Brigham Exploration Co. (BEXP) - I continue to watch BEXP. If Oil follows Gold and breaks out, BEXP will be a huge winner. Ditto with Continental Resources Inc. (CLR) & Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. (KOG)
