The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9627 on 9/10/09, as the stock market popped on a better then expected initial jobless claims figure as well as a positive treasury auction. The Dow Jones Futures were up, down, then back up again in pre market but the market opened in the green and never really sold off. The price of Nautral Gas soared on a lower then expected inventory figure. Natural Gas was up 16% on very active trading. Stocks such as PetroQuest Energy Inc. (PQ) & Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) really surged today. Tomorrow I will be paying close attention to the Michigan Sentiment index. Check out some of the events I will be watching for Friday.
