Stocks to Watch - 8/5/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Georgia Gulf Corp. (GGC) - Georgia Gulf stock continues to surge after they did a reverse spilt and cut their debt. Earnings will be released tonight after the close followed by a conference call 8/5/09. Support is all the way down at $30 and then $26.50. This has been a great stock to trade!

Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - MBIA Inc. (MBI) - ABK and MBI were on fire today with the financial sector. Ambac reports earnings Friday and if the stock can break up above $1.00, it has a chance to really move. Watch these two on Wednesday!

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ANPI) - ANPI hasn't closed over $2 since June 11th. A close over $2 would be bullish and you see a nice surge higher. ANPI is up today on the following news - Angiotech Pharmaceuticals announces launch of Quill SRS product codes for laparoscopic gynecology procedures

SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - Watch SIRI is the stock has been breaking out. Sirius hit $0.54 earlier Tuesday afternoon and now is having a pullback. If the stock can break up through $0.56, I'd expect $0.60-$0.63 to be tested. Check out my SIRI technical analysis

Sequenom Inc. (SQNM) - SQNM stock was at it again Tuesday. Ever since breaking above the previous high of $5.34 several weeks ago, the stock has been on fire. Earnings are Thursday after the close followed by a conference call.

CROCS Inc. (CROX) - CROX has been breaking out as well over the past several trading sessions. I am watching the June 11th high of $4.50 as a major resistance level. Earnings Thursday after the close

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - Waiting on an FDA decision for CFS drug Ampligen....I don't think its ever going to come....we are on week 9 of the delay I believe!!!

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - If CTIC closes above $1.50 tonight ( $1.51 + ) I will be starting a trading position. The next major level I will be watching is $1.73. Check out my CTIC technical analysis

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS hit a new 3 months high Tuesday at $66.64.... This might finally be a good place to buy FAZ but anyone who attempted to buy FAS over the past several weeks has gotten steamrolled. I will be buying FAZ when FAS breaks down through today's low of $60.78. FAS has made a higher low every day for the past 10 trading sessions. When this trend changes....FAZ will get a pop.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Watching Citigroup for a close over $3.21 for a retest of $3.30 and $3.37. I like pullbacks to $3. Check out my Citigroup Technical Analysis

Bank of America Corp ( BAC ) - Bank of America Corporation hit a high of $15.96 today which now becomes resistance on it's way to $17.93. I would be a buyer of pullbacks to $13.73 and $12.60, two major moving averages.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Watching for a break above $14, I then I will be jumping back in.
