The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9496 on 8/31/09, as the stock market fell after the China market tanked overnight. The Dow Jones Futures were down around 60 during pre market trading after the Shanghai index fell 6.74%. Investors on Wall Street are also getting cautious due to the fact that we are headed into September which is historically the worse month of the trading year. The Dow Jones is now back to the 10 day moving average ( 9475 ) so the next few trading sessions will be critical for the stock market. Keep an eye on the ISM report due out tomorrow at 10am EST.
