The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9544 on 8/26/09, as the stock market traded flat most of the day after better then expected new home sales. The Dow Jones Futures started the day lower but stocks rallied right after the open. For most of the trading day, the stock market zig-zagged between positive and negative territory. Tomorrow we will receive the initial jobless claims data from last week at 8:30am EST. This will be a market moving event! Check out some of the events I will be watching for Thursday.
