June 29, 2020 - Tortoise Acquisition Corp. (SHLL) stock is set to hit a record high today after a 33% rally on Friday. Shares of SHLL are gapping up to $27 on Monday, up 10% in pre market trading.
Tortoise Acquisition (SHLL) has been one of the hottest stocks on Wall St. recently after the company announced merger plans with Hyliion. The two companies are expected to merge in September 2020 and form an IPO. The new company will be called Hyliion and trade under the ticker symbol "HYLN."
After the red hot Nikola (NKLA) IPO recently, Hyliion actually has a product and sales and is only trading at 1/5 of valuation of NKLA stock.

Hyliion (SHLL > HYLN) Stock IPO Next Nikola (NKLA)?
June 27, 2020 - If you missed the news last week, Hyliion, currently with a ticker symbol of SHLL, will IPO in three months with a ticker symbol of HYLN. Hyliion is seeking approval to merge with Tortoise Acquisition Corp. (SHLL) which is the new way to IPO. Tortoise Acquisition Corp. (SHLL) will then become Hyliion and the ticker symbol will change to HYLN.
A SPAC, or Special Purpose Acquisition Company, is a way for private companies to go public without the large fees and IPO roadshows. VectoIQ Acquisition Corp. (VTIQ) recently merged with Nikola Motor (NKLA) and investors are now valuing this company, with no sales, at $24 billion or $66 per share.
Hyliion is a startup maker of diesel-electric truck components. The company already has sales and has a deal with Penske. Hyliion upfits Class 8 trucks to run on dual fuel sources. It is providing three of its 6X4HE heavy-duty models to Penske Truck Leasing. Hyliion investor and electrification partner, Dana Inc (DAN) showed the first of the trucks in March at the 2020 American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council meeting in Atlanta.
