Potbelly (PBPB) IPO Prices at $14 - Stock Opens Today 10/4/13

The Potbelly (PBPB) stock IPO priced 7.5 million shares at $14 and is set to open for trading today, October 4, 2013.  Expect high volume and PBPB stock to be very volatile.  Potbelly (PBPB) operates a sandwich chain and is growing rapidly.  The company has around 290 locations and expects to continue to see growth in key markets.

Back in June, restaurant company Noodles & Company (NDLS) IPO'd and the stock jumped 100% to $36.  A week later, NDLS hit $52.  I still hold the shares I bought on IPO day at $32.80.

Potbelly (PBPB) IPO to Open in October 2013

The Potbelly (PBPB) IPO is expected to open next week on the NASDAQ. Look for PBPB stock on Thursday or Friday. The company is looking to raise $75 million by pricing 7.5 million shares at $10 each. This seems low to me so if PBPB comes under the radar it has the potential to be a great buy.  We will be watching PBPB for a potential trade in the stock picks group for sure!
