Sears (SHLDQ) Stock Delisted, New Ticker Symbol SHLDQ

Sears Holding (SHLDQ) stock was delisted and received a new ticker symbol this week, SHLDQ.

SHLDQ stock is surging above $1 today after the bankruptcy judge approval the Eddie Lambert takeover bid for $5.2 billion.

Sears Holdings Corporation operates as an integrated retailer in the United States. It operates in two segments, Kmart and Sears Domestic. The Kmart segment operates retail stores that offer a range of products, including consumer electronics, seasonal merchandise, outdoor living, toys, lawn and garden equipment, food and consumables, and apparel; and in-store pharmacies. Orsus Xelent Technologies Inc. (ORS) stock was suddenly delisted on Friday and began trading under the new ticker symbol ORSX.PK. While I am unclear whether this stock suspension was in the cards, ORSX.PK stock dropped like a rock on Friday.
