The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9830 on 9/21/09, as the stock market jumped which was led by the financials. The Dow Jones Futures started the day higher as Citigroup and AIG exploded in pre market trading. When the stock market opened however, stocks sold off but stayed in the green. Late in the day, rumors circulated that AIG was going to do a secondary offering. The company would not comment but the stock fell around $4 per share.

Citigroup had a nice day Monday and is getting closer to closing over the 10 day moving average. When this happens, I plan to buy the stock. The next major resistance level besides the 10 day is $4.60. I will buy even more stock when Citigroup closes over $4.60. On the downside, there continues to be solid support just above $4.11. Stocks to Watch - 9/22/09 - Stock Market Ideas

VeriChip Corporation (CHIP) - CHIP stock exploded higher Monday after the company announced releasing H1N1 patent news .
CEL-SCI Corp. (CVM) - CVM soared after breaking a new 52 week high in early trading on Monday. $2 has been pretty strong resistance. For a trade, I will be buying if CVM can break $2.01. Support is around $1.70.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG surged on Monday after the following news: Towns May Seek to Ease AIG’s Government Bailout Terms. AIG stock spiked over $45 and seemed to be holding the daily gains going into the final hours of trading. The next major resistance level I am watching is $47.67. A close above $47.67 would be huge.
Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup Inc had a nice rebound on Monday but still trades below the 10 day moving average located at $4.46. A close above the 10 day moving average will get me back into the stock. Check out my latest Citigroup Technical Analysis.
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS opened up below $85.50 support on Monday and provided a nice FAZ trade. I would be buying FAZ again if FAS breaks down below $83.87. I would be buying FAS again if it breaks $85.62. FAS can go either way at this point but those are the prices I am watching.
SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - SIRI hit a low of $0.65 but showed some strength in the afternoon on Monday. Still wait for a close over $0.70 to get back in fully.
Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) - ARNA broke through the high of day on Monday afternoon. Watch resistance at $5.40 & $5.93
Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corportation is still trading over the 10 day moving average. Keep an eye on resistance located at $18.24.
Fannie Mae (FNM) - Resistance = $1.73 - Support $1.50
Freddie Mac (FRE) - Resistance = $1.96 - Support $1.80

VeriChip Corporation (CHIP) - CHIP stock exploded higher Monday after the company announced releasing H1N1 patent news .
CEL-SCI Corp. (CVM) - CVM soared after breaking a new 52 week high in early trading on Monday. $2 has been pretty strong resistance. For a trade, I will be buying if CVM can break $2.01. Support is around $1.70.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG surged on Monday after the following news: Towns May Seek to Ease AIG’s Government Bailout Terms. AIG stock spiked over $45 and seemed to be holding the daily gains going into the final hours of trading. The next major resistance level I am watching is $47.67. A close above $47.67 would be huge.
Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup Inc had a nice rebound on Monday but still trades below the 10 day moving average located at $4.46. A close above the 10 day moving average will get me back into the stock. Check out my latest Citigroup Technical Analysis.
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS opened up below $85.50 support on Monday and provided a nice FAZ trade. I would be buying FAZ again if FAS breaks down below $83.87. I would be buying FAS again if it breaks $85.62. FAS can go either way at this point but those are the prices I am watching.
SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - SIRI hit a low of $0.65 but showed some strength in the afternoon on Monday. Still wait for a close over $0.70 to get back in fully.
Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) - ARNA broke through the high of day on Monday afternoon. Watch resistance at $5.40 & $5.93
Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corportation is still trading over the 10 day moving average. Keep an eye on resistance located at $18.24.
Fannie Mae (FNM) - Resistance = $1.73 - Support $1.50
Freddie Mac (FRE) - Resistance = $1.96 - Support $1.80
