The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8741 on 6/2/09, as the stock market added on to Monday's gains after a better then expected Pending Homes Sales figure. The Dow Jones Futures started the day lower but after the housing data was released, the stock market quickly turned around. General Motors Corp started trading on the pink sheets stock exchange today under the new ticker symbol GMGMQ.PK. GMGMQ stock hit $0.49 during the afternoon hours while Ford ( F ) continued to run higher. The Dow Jones traded above the 200 day moving average for the first time in over a year. This is a very bullish indicator but watch out for major resistance located at 9000. Tomorrow was get the ADP employment figure released at 8:15am EST. Hemispherx HEB Stock Rising! 6/2/09

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) stock is soaring this afternoon ( June 2, 2009 ) on absolutely no news but anticipation for approval of their drug Ampligen. We have been discussing HEB since the stock was in the low $1's and many people are making a lot of money today. The FDA decision could make or break this stock in the next week.

Hemispherx Biopharma Announces Possible Brief Delay in FDA Action On Ampligen(r) New Drug Application

May 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (NYSE Amex:HEB) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug administration ("FDA") has advised the company that it may require up to 1-2 additional weeks to take action beyond the scheduled Prescription Drug User Fee Act action date of May 25, 2009 on the New Drug Application for Ampligen(r) (Poly I Poly C12U), a selective TLR3 modulator, for the management of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Reason for the possible delay was attributed by the Agency to certain staff scheduling changes which might (or might not) delay the report. Accordingly the Company's development plan for Ampligen(r) continues as described in the recently filed 10Q and 10K, as the FDA did not request additional information from the Company at this time.

The Dow Jones continued the rally from the last half hour on Friday and is now testing the 200 day moving average which is down to 8765. A close above this level would be very bullish and we could see a run toward 9000 where there is more resistance. 8500 now becomes a support level that must hold from here on out to continue the run. Stocks to Watch - 6/2/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC stock was halted in Monday afternoon and the company came out with positive pixantrone data on non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I am not an expert on drug news but I have a feeling CTIC stock will be very active on Tuesday - If you haven't had CTIC on your stock trading radar for the past few months...shame on you! CTIC has been the most popular stock for traders in 2009 so far and now we are seeing why. CTIC has resistance at $1.85, $2.50. Discuss CTIC.

Force Protection Inc. (FRPT) - FRPT stock has been soaring lately and was recommended by John Narjarian today on CNBC's Fast Money - FRPT hit a new 52 week high Monday afternoon at $10.03.

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - Still waiting for the FDA decision on Ampligen

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Direxion Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS stock broke through and closed over $10, this area now becomes support and FAS could now be headed back to the next resistance level at $12.53. If the FAS breaks $10 I will jump into FAZ for a quick trade.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup stock has stalled between $3.60-$3.80. A break below $3.60 would be bearish but a break above $4.00 would be very bullish and I would buy C stock. Until then, Citigroup is dead money from a stock trading perspective.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) - As far as BAC goes, I am waiting for a break back above $12 to start trading Bank of America from the long side. This would be the start of a technical break out.

Ford Motor Company (F) - Ford is jumping today on the GM bankruptcy news - F stock has resistance at $6.54.

United States Natural Gas Fund, LP ( UNG ) - I strongly believe natural gas has bottomed and actually put in a double bottom last week. The UNG is a strong buy on major pullbacks. Natural Gas is the most volatile commodes right now so be careful.

S&P 500 - The S&P 500 will be closing over the 200 day moving average on Monday for the first time in one year. If you like the S&P 500, check out SPX
