The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8763 on 6/9/09, as the stock market had a really nice day reversing from the early morning lows to close in the green minus the Dow. The Dow Jones Futures started the day mixed but the stock market went lower right after the open. Things turned around at 12pm EST and the S&P 500 hit a new 2009 YTD high intraday at 947. The US Dollar USD was weak yet again which caused Oil and Gold Prices to soar. Oil closed over $70 per barrel and looks poised to hit $75 very soon. My favorite speculative oil stock is Continental Resources Inc. (CLR) which is up above 55% in 2009 and up over 100% from the lows. Natural Gas has been a very volatile commodity but I still believe it has bottomed. While natural gas trades around $3.75 now, a break above $4.50 would be very bullish going forward. Baltic Dry Index Shipping Rates 6/9/09 BDI
The BDI data is critical for how the DryBulk Shipping Stocks such as DryShips Inc ( DRYS ), Excel Maritime Carriers Ltd( EXM ), Diana Shipping Inc ( DSX ), Genco Shipping & Trading Limited ( GNK ), TBS International Limited ( TBSI ), Navios Maritime ( NM ), Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. ( EGLE ), Paragon Shipping Inc. ( PRGN ), Star Bulk Carriers Corp. ( SBLK ), and OceanFreight Inc ( OCNF ) will trade during the day. As you probably know, the Dry Bulk Shipping index can tell you a lot about the state of the World Economy. When Bulk Shipping Rates are at all time highs, the World Economy is outstanding. When Bulk Shipping Rates are as low as they have been lately, it signifies that the world economy has come to a screeching halt!

The Dow Jones continues to be very strong with every major dip being purchased heavily! I continue to think the Dow will hit 9000 or above before any major pullback. Stocks to Watch - 6/9/09 - Stock Market Ideas
Palomar Medical Technologies (NASDAQ:PMTI) - Shares of PMTI continue to rocket higher after FDA approves Palomar's anti-wrinkle device. Support is located around $16 with resistance at $20 and $21.10 from December 2007. This was some big news!! The volume continues to be there for the active day trader trying to day trade this stock. Look for a test of $20 if Monday's high of $18.70 is broken. Discuss PMTI
Spongetech Delivery Systems, Inc. ( SPNG ) - Another great day for SPNG stock. The company presented at a conference during the morning hours on Monday and the stock took off. Support is located at $0.10 and resistance is located at Monday's high of $0.155. Discuss SPNG
Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ANPI) - ANPI received FDA Clearance for one of their devices. After a huge open, ANPI stock sold off Monday morning and never rallied back. If ANPI can get back into the $2.70's I think it could retest the $2.94 high from Monday. Support appears to be around $2.40.
Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - I continue to watch HEB stock as investors are waiting for an FDA approval decision for the companies drug Ampligen.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc ( CTIC ) - CTIC was back trading in the $1.70's again after the following news. I close over $1.85 would be very bullish for this company
Ford Motor Company (F) - Jim Cramer says he likes Ford's chances - stock is seeing a rebound in late trading on Monday
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Direxion Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS stock hit a low of $10 on Monday which has been the recent support level. If $10 does not hold, look for $9.82 and then $9.40. I continue to trade FAS when it breaks through the high of the day.
Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup is back to being volatile again but this is good news for traders. After hitting support in the mid $3.30's, Citi stock ran up to $3.61 area and then pulled back to the mid $3.40's. Sooner or later, Citigroup stock will be making a hard move in one direction or the other. A break above $4.00 would get me to buy C stock.
