The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 16554 on 8/8/14, as the stock market dropped in the morning but skyrocketed in the afternoon. The futures were down big in the morning but then news broke that Russia wanted to de-escalate the Ukraine conflict. In the afternoon, a big buy order came into the market is caused shorts to cover, lifting the Dow Jones 160 points. The S&P 500 will have resistance at 1935 & 1945 next week. Keep an eye on earnings from PCLN on Monday. We will be watching this stock closely in the stock picks group.
