The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9686 on 7/2/10, as the stock market traded lower on an in line jobs report. The US lost 125,000 jobs for the month of June which was a little worse then expected but a better number then the stock market was pricing in on Thursday.
The Dow Jones was down about 80 points at one point today before rallying back into positive territory. However, in the last five minutes, the Dow Jones fell 40 points to close into the red.
