The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10927 on 4/9/10, as the stock market made another attempt at closing above resistance. The Dow Jones struggled near 11,000 all day long and finally broke above it with minutes left in the trading session. Earnings season will come into effect next week with Alcoa kicking things off Monday after the bell.
