The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10970 on 4/6/10, as the stock market traded flat as the Dow Jones approaches the key resistance level of 11,000. The stock market was lower in pre market but stocks rallied back to positive territory throughout the trading day. Crude oil hit $87 per barrel as the momentum continues in the energy sector. Oil has a chance of rallying even more as we get some key inventory data due out tonight and tomorrow.
