The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 11009 on 4/30/10, as the stock market dropped thats to Goldman Sachs and the financials. Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS) dropped 10% on several downgrades and due to the fact that the company is under a criminal probe now. This news sent all of the financials and the stock market in a downtrend all day long.
On a brighter note, a positive jobs report is expected next Friday!
