The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10992 on 4/27/10, as the stock market tanked because of a downgrade on Greece & Portugal's debt. We also saw Goldman Sachs executives testify on Capital Hill about the fraud charges on the company. The Dow Jones failed to hold the key level of 11,000 on a closing basis which is bearish but financials were the culprit of today's slide. Wall Street loved Citigroup last week at $5 but can't sell fast enough below $4.50 now. I love the stock below $4.40 as a solid long term buy.
On Wednesday, we will get key earnings reports out of Baidu, First Solar, and Visa.
