The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 11006 on 4/12/10, as the stock market traded higher. The Dow Jones finally closed above 11,000 which is bullish going forward. Earnings season officially kicks off tonight with Alcoa (AA). Three months ago, earnings sent the stock lower after earnings....will it be the opposite this time? The recent run in the stock market has investors nervous that positive earnings expectations are already baked into the stock price. Alcoa will be a great gauge tonight! Despite 2-3 recent downgrades, the stock continues to hold in the $14's.
