The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10686 on 3/16/10, as the stock market had a really nice day on no major news. The Federal Reserve decided to keep interest rates unchanged again which was expected. This news moved stocks slightly higher during the afternoon but the slow and steady grind up continues for all major stock market averages. The Dow Jones is now roughly 50 points away from a new yearly high.
