The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10059 on 2/9/10, as the stock market surged on speculation the the EU is preparing some kind of rescue package for Greece. The Dow Jones Futures began the day up around 90 points but when the stock market opened, investors started taking profits. At 11:30am EST, several news reports started surfacing that Greece was going to get some kind of rescue and the stock market spiked. The Dow Jones is now back above 10,000 and broke Friday's high. This break out sets a new support level at 10,000 once again. Resistance for the Dow Jones will be around 10,200-10,300 but I do expect us to give back some of Today's gains tomorrow since we are in a downtrend.
