The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10618 on 1/8/10, as the stock market traded flat after a worse then expected jobs report. The jobs report showed that we lost 85,000 jobs in the month of December. The Dow Jones traded down 50 points at one point during the day but bounced back as we headed into the close. On Monday, Alcoa, Inc. (AA) will kick off earnings season.
