The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10337 on 12/9/09, as the stock market went higher on a technical bounce. The Dow Jones Futures started the day up by about 35 points but those gains were quickly taken away right at the open. The S&P 500 held 1085 several times today which produced a short covering rally going into the initial claims data on Thursday.

CNBC is reporting that Citigroup will be soon announcing a capital raise which would go towards paying back the TARP loan. Details could be announced in the coming days.
