The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10406 on 12/10/09, as the stock market went higher on an increase in exports which helped narrow the trade deficit. The Dow Jones Futures began the day up around 40 points. Initial Claims came in higher then expected but were still under 500,000. All in all, it was a solid day for the stock market.

As I mentioned yesterday, the S&P 500 continues to hold 1080-1085 which is a major support level. As long as the S&P holds this level on a closing basis, I am bullish on stocks. Resistance is now located at 1111.
