Stocks to Watch - 11/3/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Motorola Inc. (MOT) - Shares if MOT went up on Monday due to a Citigroup upgrade. Resistance is all the way up at $9.45 from September 2009. I'd be a buyer of pullbacks to $8.25 with a stop at $7.99.

DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - DRYS continues to tank after a better then expected earnings release. I plan to add to my long term position when the stock breaks back above $7.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG continues to hold $33 which has been solid support. A break below $33 would set up a test of $32.61, if that doesn't hold, look for $30. The 10 day moving average is down to $36.90, a level AIG hasn't closed above in 12 trading sessions.

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - RIMM continues to tank after falling below the 200 day moving average last week. Citigroup came out and downgraded the stock Monday to sell based on higher competition risks. I plan to buy RIMM for a quick trade when it breaks $57.20 which was Monday's high of day. I will add to my long term position when the stock closes back above $65.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - After hitting $72.03 Monday morning, FAS plunged $8 several hours later in what could be the capitulation selling move we've been waiting for. I continue to like FAS for a quick trade when it breaks up through $70. $70 & $72.03 become key resistance levels now. Also, when I see a huge 10% down-move in several hours, I will usually buy the dip for a quick trade. I set tight stops however. As for FAZ, I believe the upside is limited here.

Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corporation (BAC) fell below $15 again after trading above it most of the morning on Monday. The good news, $14 held. The high of the day at $15.23 now becomes resistance. I expected BAC to move higher if this price is broken.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) - Support of $14.50 was broken Monday as the volatility continues. I am waiting to buy LVS when it closes back over It's 10 day moving average now down to $15.35. There is big risk buying below this level and at the very least, you can use it as a stop loss level.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC is back above the 200 day moving average but the 10 day is falling rapidly. If CTIC breaks below $0.95 again, it could get ugly. For me to buy again, the stock has to get back above $1.00.

Freddie Mac (FRE) - Support = $1.10 - Resistance = $1.20, $1.35
Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $1.00 - Resistance $1.08, $1.13
