Is the stock market open on Thanksgiving Thursday? No, Wall Street is closed! The Stock Market, which includes the Dow Jones, Nasdaq, S&P 500, Banks, and Bond Market will be closed on 11/26/09 for Thanksgiving which is a National Holiday. Post Offices & Banks will also be Closed.

The Stock Market will reopen on 11/27/09 ( for Black Friday ) and resume trading at 8am for pre market but close at 1pm EST.

11/26/09 - November 26, 2009 - Closed - Thanksgiving
11/27/09 - November 27, 2009 - Open - Black Friday, 1pm EST Close

Post Offices:

The Post Office will be closed on Thansgiving but will be open for Black Friday ( November 27, 2009 )
