The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10041 on 10/20/09, as the stock market fell and the Dow Jones retested 10,000. The Dow Jones Futures were flat in pre market but when the opening bell rang, stock were weak all morning. Going into the afternoon, the selling pressure sent stock even lower with the Dow Jones testing but holding 10,000. Today's sell off was caused by cautious comments out of the Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) conference call around lunch time.

Citigroup Inc ( C ) led the financials lower as the stock fell below the 50 day moving average for the first time in several months.

Tomorrow morning we will be receiving earnings out of several companies including Wells Fargo & Company ( NYSE:WFC). Check out some additional events I will be watching for Wednesday. If you are a stock trader, check out my stocks to watch report for tomorrow.
