Is the stock market open on Labor Day Monday? No, Wall Street is closed! The Stock Market, which includes the Dow Jones, Nasdaq, S&P 500, Banks, and Bond Market will be closed on 9/7/09 for Labor Day which is a National Holiday. Post Offices will also be Closed.

The Stock Market will reopen on 9/8/09 and resume trading at 8am for pre market.
