The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9707 on 9/24/09, as the stock market had another rough day after existing home sales for August fell 2.7%. The Dow Futures started the day higher after initial jobless claims fell to 530,000. At 10am, the existing home sales data was released and the stock market dropped significantly throughout the day.
