The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9606 on 9/11/09, as the stock market traded flat on a better then expected Michigan Sentiment figure as well as positive guidance out of FedEx Corporation (FDX). The Dow Jones Futures started the day down but reversed after 8am EST. The stock market continues the sideways grind higher with the dips being bought and the spikes being sold. This is to be expected as we approach another major resistance area at 10,000-10,200. I continue to be bullish as long as the Dow Jones remains over 9,000.
