Stocks to Watch - 6/29/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Palm, Inc. (PALM) - PALM stock continues to fly after releasing better then expected earnings. PALM has support between the $15.20-$15.40 area from Friday...for a quick trade, that could be a great area to buy. I would be placing a stop loss order at $14.90 which was the low on Friday.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - We saw some nice strength in CTIC stock Friday. This run up began going into the close on Thursday and then continued in after hours. CTIC then opened pre market on Friday lower but ran to new weekly highs during the afternoon. CTIC broke though the $1.67 resistance level and it now testing major resistance in the $1.70's. I will be buying CTIC if it breaks up through $1.85.

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - Investors continue to wait for an FDA Approval Decision on a CFS drug called Ampligen. HEB stock has been doing well over the past two days but has hit some resistance on Friday. $2.54 and $2.58 are two resistance area that if broke, could send shares back to the $3 level. Keep in mind, this is technical, news can come out at any time and squash this.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS stock continues to show strength after a nice three day bounce off the $7.93 lows. FAS is hitting some recent resistance between $9-$9.20. This could be a good place to buy some FAZ for a trade but the volatility is so low you have to be very nimble. I personally like FAS stock closer to $8 where I would be a buyer.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup is back to being a weak stock. Citi broke below $3 once again but has remained above the previous low of $2.90. Citigroup now has resistance at $3.09, $3.15, $3.22, and $3.29....a close above these levels would be bullish and you could probably see a run back into the $3.50's. A break below $2.90 would be very bearish and I would look for $2.60-$2.80.

SpongeTech Delivery Systems, Inc. (SPNG.OB) - SPNG stock is hanging onto support at $0.12, I'd be a buyer of a dip back to $0.08.
