The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8764 on 6/8/09, as the stock market rallied all the way back from a horrible open today to close almost even. The Dow Jones Futures started the day negative and things got worse after the open. At one point, the Dow Jones was down more the 120 points on no apparent news but the continued sell off from Friday. The major news story of the day was in the technology sector where Apple Inc ( AAPL ) unveiled several new product announcements. The stock continues to hit off the $144 area Resistance level.
