The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8540 on 6/22/09, as the stock market was volatile on Quadruple Witching Friday. The Dow Jones Futures began the day higher but the stock market fell apart during the afternoon hours. A late day surge around 3pm put all major averages in the green and then the Dow tanked again. Next week will be critical due to some end of the month trading as well as the Federal Reserve meeting. Check out some of the events I will be watching for Monday.
