The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8277 on 5/22/09, as the stock market went down on very low volume before a three day weekend for Wall Street. The Dow Jones Futures started the day higher but as we went into the final hour of trading, stocks came off their highs and went into the red. The stock market will be closed on Monday.
